I wanted to send you a personal note and let you know how happy we are with the remodel.  First let me thank you for your hard work and professionalism, yet you always made us feel like we were old friends.  Your attention to detail was great and when there was a problem you were on it and took care of it immediately.

The tradesmen did a wonderful job.  On time, knew what they were doing and always cleaned up after themselves.  Their skills and knowledge is one of the things that made this project go so smoothly and resulted in a great project.

I also have to say that your prices were very competitive.  We recieved great products, excellent workmanship and very personal service for an exceptional value.

The first time HomeTown Pro came to my attention was when I saw a feature story in the Kenosha News which featured Beth Gonnering, owner of HomeTown Pro.  I read the article with interest, because I was familiar with the Gonnering name, which had established itself as a known name in Kenosha in the real estate area.  I remember being impressed with Beth's extensive experience in construction, as a project manager and as the owner of a private firm engaging in construction and remodeling.

I found myself in need of the services of a professional contractor, because two years earlier, I had hired a non-professional "handyman" to replace a shower in my lower level bathroom.  At the time, the work seemed adequate, but as time went along, it was apparent that there was a problem, as water was visibly leaking and there was obvious damage to the drywall surrounding the shower. At that point, it was obvious that something needed to be done.  Having already been burned by a non professional, it was time to call in a real pro.  Enter, HomeTown Pro.

While in the process of trying to decide whose service to utilize, which is always an arduous process, I came across the ad in the phonebook for HomeTown Pro.  I recognized Beth's name and remembered the article in the paper.  Choosing someone to invite into your home and someone to trust with a project that cost a lot of money is a very hard and trying experience.  I called Beth and explained my situation.  An appointment was set for her to come over and assess my situation.

From the first moment, Beth was prompt, polite and very personable.  She set about her task of gathering information that she would need to formulate a proposal for the necessary work.  When she left, she assured me that a proposal would be forthcoming in a timely manner.  True to her word, the proposal arrived, conveniently attached to an email, which allowed me to not only view it, but print it right away.  I called her with a few minor questions and points I thought needed to be addressed in the proposal, and was cheerfully greeted with an immediate opportunity to change those things.  I found the contract to be very detailed and professional.  I found the price to be very reasonable for the work that needed to be done, so I signed the contract and the work date was immediately scheduled. 

Throughout the entire process of the work, I was pleased by the professional performance of Beth, her employees and her subcontractors.  All the people involved in my job were pleasant, prompt and professional. I was especially impressed and pleased by having Beth visit the job site at least twice daily while the work was going on. She took the time to introduce me to each of the craftsmen that entered my home.  She was on hand to inspect the ongoing work and assure that it was up to the level of quality that she expected.  She answered my questions and concerns all the way through the project.  It was extremely comforting to me to see that Beth cared so much about her clients and about the work done by the company that bears her name prominently.

Again, all of the craftsmen and tradesmen which were associated with Beth and HomeTown Pro were very capable and personable individuals.  I was pleased to have them in my home and as part of the team on my project.

At the end of the job, HomeTown Pro continued its fine attention to detail and client service by having a cleaning crew come in and make sure that the affected areas and traffic areas of my home were left clean and without debris.  To me, this is an excellent representation of the quality of the services offered by HomeTown Pro, attention to the finest and most final detail to make things perfect.

Beth and I did a final walk through at which time; one small detail caught my eye.  This detail was immediately seen to and the job received my final word:  PERFECT.  I will, without hesitation, recommend HomeTown Pro to anyone in need of their services.  I will also, without hesitation, call them again if another project presents itself in my home.
